1. About CB Serenity Hub

CB Serenity Hub provides culturally affirming, evidence-based mental health therapy services designed to support emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth. Services are offered both virtually and in person.


2. Eligibility for Services

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or

  • You are a minor with consent from a parent or legal guardian

  • You are legally able to consent to mental health treatment under applicable laws in Massachusetts and the United States


3. Scope of Services

Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Individual therapy sessions

  • Mental health consultations

  • Crisis support guidance (non-emergency)

  • Treatment planning and progress tracking

Important: CB Serenity Hub does not provide emergency services.
If you are experiencing a crisis, please call 911 or contact your local emergency services immediately.


4. No Guarantee of Outcomes

While we are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, therapy outcomes vary by individual. CB Serenity Hub does not guarantee specific results.


5. Appointments & Scheduling
  • Appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or through approved platforms (e.g., SimplePractice)

  • Clients are responsible for attending sessions on time

  • Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions


6. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

  • Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a fee

  • Repeated no-shows may result in service termination


7. Fees & Payment
  • Fees for services will be communicated prior to your appointment

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed

  • We may accept insurance and/or private pay (details provided during onboarding)

  • Clients are responsible for any uncovered charges


8. Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All services are provided in accordance with applicable confidentiality laws, including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).

However, confidentiality may be legally broken in situations such as:

  • Risk of harm to yourself or others

  • Suspected abuse or neglect

  • Court orders or legal requirements

9. Telehealth Services

For virtual sessions:

  • You agree to participate in therapy via secure digital platforms

  • You are responsible for ensuring a private, safe environment during sessions

  • Technical issues may occasionally occur; we will make reasonable efforts to reconnect


10. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Participate actively in your care

  • Follow agreed treatment plans

  • Treat clinicians and staff with respect


11. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use it for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems

  • Copy or misuse content without permission
